The Pitch is a Canvas

Following on from the last post, did this little short short. I might work on making it part of a compilation under the theme of 'the pitch is a canvas'. I would use something else as the background music, but for now just went with the classic 'Balcony Scene' by Craig Armstrong.

Just did this for fun, inspired by watching Richard Swarbrick' videos and remembering BBC's Euro 2004 ads (those were quality). Wanted to try it out myself. Went with two great goals from two of the most technically gifted players of their generation- I liked the idea of portraying them in a more abstract way, with as simple marks as possible. It was fun to do it a la Swarbrick's style, although his of course are much, much better!

Update: I later did this one of that memorable Henry strike.
